In exterior design, the 2026 GWM WEY Gaoshan 7 continues the brand’s signature “Mountain and Flowing Water” design language. A large, densely patterned chrome grille blends seamlessly with smoked headlamp clusters; the vertical slats resemble cascading waterfalls, conveying the composed presence of a business MPV while four distinctive exterior colors — Deep Space Black, Canglang Green, and two others — precisely meet family buyers’ aesthetic preferences. The front bumper uses a three-section air-guide channel design accented by high-gloss chrome trim, which reduces drag and enriches the front-end visual layering. A roof-integrated LiDAR quietly signals its advanced intelligent-driving capability; the overall form perfectly interprets the design spirit of “understated richness.”
From the side, a 5,050 mm overall length paired with an ultra-long 3,085 mm wheelbase gives this five-meter-class MPV outstanding maneuverability, with a turning radius of only 5.7 meters. The floating roof and segmented character line create a nimble silhouette; multi-spoke wheels and chrome side-skirt trim enhance perceived refinement. Downward-sloping angular lines and broad chrome trim at the bottom of the doors mutually reinforce each other, producing strong visual layering. It is worth noting that the 1,900 mm height improves clearance in underground garages, and the 1,960 mm overall width leaves ample lateral space for three adults to sit side-by-side in practice.
At the rear, a smoked full-width taillight extends into the fenders and visually widens the stance. Chrome trim on the rear bumper echoes the front design; with redundant decoration reduced, the overall lines look cleaner and sharper. Although the trunk in standard configuration holds seven 20-inch suitcases (five fewer than the Gaoshan 8), an innovative recessed storage compartment compensates for the lost volume and suits family users who prefer practicality over excess.
